Vintage or Antique Gifts to Give the Maximalist in Your Life

1. A classic puzzle by Abbatt Toys - they can be a bit pricey and are rare, but occasionally you'll find one on Ebay at a good price. Here are two of my favorites:
2. An amazing 1980s sweater from Berek - knit by hand and, if it's been kept in good condition, worth rescuing! Some are a bit cheesy, and others are pure genius!
3. A nice set of solid brass bookends - loved these particular ones with the ship and fireplace mantel, found on eBay
4. A needlepoint foot stool - I shudder to think of how inexpensive you can find these for when there was so much work poured into them! Can serve as a nice footrest, and children will always be drawn to sitting on them as little chairs, too <3
5. A vintage ceramic jug or mug (with a ship on it, preferably) - I personally don't use these for food or drink, but rather as vases or bookshelf decorations. Such charm!
6. Any books illustrated (or "decorated") by Edward Bawden, a true genius - some of my favorites are cookbooks by Ambrose Heath, but he illustrated so much!
7. An original linocut print - I always find that linocut prints can be found much more affordably than any other original artwork; I think some people don't realize that they too are considered originals. Saw this one recently on eBay and am thinking of buying it! I wonder where the other 3 are. :)
That's all for today! Hope you enjoy. :)
