Personalized Positive Behavior Star Chart - Dinosaur

In our family, the reward for filling up your star chart is always a date with Mom or Dad. We weren't sure this would continue to be an appealing prize, but 4 years and running and it is still what our kids look forward to the most.

How it works:

The child earns stars for positive behavior in the categories listed (Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control). 

We use a wet-erase marker and hang on a hook on the fridge, low enough for the child to check on their progress whenever they'd like. 

When all the stars are filled up, we start planning a date for sometime that week with Mom or Dad (we usually do a hike/walk, coffee shop, and bookstore). The kids love bringing their star chart on the date!

Back at home, we wash off the old stars and start afresh.
